Perth Mint Silver Bar
These 99.99% cast bullion bars carry The Perth Mint's London Bullion Market Association registered mark, a symbol of international tradability.
Improved design
From May 2023, the 1kg silver cast bar will carry a newly styled identification mark. To increase the visibility of the mark, the Mint's swan logo has been significantly enlarged. For greater clarity, the weight and purity of the bar is indicated in larger letters, which now reads "1 KILO FINE SILVER 9999".
Presentation
The 1kg silver cast bars can be purchased individually and are also available in securely fastened monster boxes of 10 bars per box.
Perth Mint
The Perth Mint is Australia's official bullion mint and is wholly owned by the Government of Western Australia. The Perth Mint was established on 20 June 1899, two years before the federation of Australia in 1901, and was the last of the three Australian colonial branches of the Royal United Kingdom Mint (after the now defunct Sydney and Melbourne mints) dedicated to refining gold from the gold rush and to minting gold sovereigns and half-sovereigns for the British Empire. Along with the Royal Australian Mint, which produces Australian dollar coins for circulation, the Perth Mint is the older of the two Australian mints issuing legal tender coins.
